By purchasing a CosmoKey license, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Refund Policy and agree to its terms.


1. Nature of the Product

CosmoKey is a digital software product delivered electronically. Upon successful purchase, customers receive access to software installation files, license credentials, and related materials that enable immediate use of the software. Because digital software can be copied, stored, and used indefinitely once delivered and activated, refund policies for such products must necessarily include specific limitations.

1.1 Pre-Purchase Responsibility

Before purchasing the CosmoKey software, customers are strongly encouraged to carefully review all information provided on the CosmoKey website, including but not limited to product features, system requirements, licensing terms, and applicable policies. By completing a purchase, the customer confirms that they have reviewed the available product information and have determined that the CosmoKey software is suitable for their intended use and compatible with their system environment.

Customers acknowledge that CosmoKey is a specialized software product designed for users with an interest or professional involvement in astrology and related analytical work. The purchase decision is therefore made at the customer’s own discretion based on the information provided on the website. Failure to review the published system requirements, product description, licensing terms, or other relevant information prior to purchase shall not constitute grounds for a refund once the software license has been issued and activated.

Customers who are uncertain about compatibility or product suitability are encouraged to contact CosmoKey support prior to purchase for clarification.


2. Refund Eligibility Before License Activation

Customers may request a refund only if the following conditions are satisfied:

The license key issued for the purchase has not been activated on any device.

The refund request is submitted within seven (7) days of the purchase date.

No attempt has been made to install, activate, or use the license.

If these conditions are met, CosmoKey may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund after verifying that the license key remains unused and has not been activated.

Upon approval of a refund, the corresponding license key will be permanently revoked and rendered invalid.


3. No Refund After License Activation

Once a CosmoKey license key has been activated on any device, the purchase becomes non-refundable.

Activation indicates that the customer has successfully received the product and has begun using the licensed software.

Because CosmoKey software and its proprietary interpretation databases become accessible immediately upon activation, refunds cannot be granted after activation.

This policy applies regardless of the reason provided for the refund request.


4. System Compatibility Responsibility

Before purchasing the CosmoKey software, customers are responsible for ensuring that their system meets the required hardware and software specifications.

Information regarding supported operating systems, minimum requirements, and compatibility guidelines is provided on the CosmoKey website.

Refund requests based on system incompatibility, unsupported operating systems, insufficient hardware capability, or similar technical limitations will not be accepted after license activation.

Customers are encouraged to review system requirements carefully prior to purchase.


5. License Delivery and Access

Following successful purchase, customers typically receive access to the CosmoKey software installer and license credentials through electronic delivery.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information, including email addresses, during the purchase process.

CosmoKey shall not be responsible for delays in delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the purchaser.


6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with a bank or payment provider after receiving and activating the CosmoKey license constitutes a violation of this Refund Policy and may result in the immediate suspension or revocation of the software license.

CosmoKey reserves the right to contest fraudulent chargeback claims and provide relevant evidence of license issuance and activation to the payment processor.


7. Exceptional Circumstances

In rare cases, CosmoKey may review refund requests that fall outside the standard policy described above.

Any such review will be conducted solely at the discretion of Bhagyaratna Astrotech LLP and shall not create an obligation to grant refunds in similar situations in the future.


8. Refund Processing

If a refund request is approved, the refund will be issued through the original payment method used for the purchase after deducting any charges levied by any third party service porivders.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution involved. Refund processing may take anywhere between 15-30 business days.

CosmoKey is not responsible for delays caused by external payment processing systems.


9. Policy Updates

CosmoKey reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be published on the CosmoKey website with the revised effective date. Continued purchase or use of CosmoKey software after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.


10. Governing Law

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with this Refund Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kolkata, India.
